Apparently, Microsoft was unwilling to include a similar page-range feature in Outlook's engine, perhaps expecting a user to instead export the message to Word or Excel for that kind of printing. > You should be able to highlight text in the e-mail and be able to Print > Selection.
However being able to print page 1 or > 1-2 would be helpful. Having the choice of All, Odd, or Even has never > been something Ive had any use for. Now, the Outlook engine is being used to provide print functionality for HTML messages as well (perhaps as a result of the litigation thrust to make MS disentangle IE from the rest of the system?). Text and Rich-text documents were printed using Outlook's own engine which lacks the print-range feature.
and IE is what contained the "page range" feature. Older versions of Outlook used IE's engine to provide print/display functions for HTML messages. Deleting the Outlook profile and recreating. Removing the printers, logging off and on and having them re-push down. Changing the paper size when printing an email or attachment, however the setting is not retained. It's odd that it is availble in Outlook Express 6. Connecting to the printer properties and ensuring paper size was correct.
